Hi eds
Wondering if anyone can help.
What's the general feeling in regards to Gareth Bale we know from what you've previously said that he's been offered about is that still the case is anyone biting or is he being priced out of a move.
Thanks appreciate it
{Ed001's Note - he wants to move as well but his wage demands make it difficult to find a buyer.}
1.) 29 May 2018 09:18:09
Oh right so no ones biting right now could be a transfer that will probably drag on then
Cheers ed appreciate the reply
{Ed001's Note - Bayern are interested in him to replace Robben.}
2.) 29 May 2018 13:15:15
could bayern afford him?? they're not big on wages are they?

Hi ed
Little bit of match of the day fever but is Isco available for transfer or is bale the only attacking player Madrid will see leave?
Thanks
{Ed002's Note - Isco will stay Dave, but the club has already off loaded a bunch of attacking players James Rodriguez to Bayern Munich, Mariano to Lyon and Morata to Chelsea. Sides interersted in Marco Asensio have been told he is not for sale but he was to be part of a deal for another player that right now looks only touch and go to happen for Real Madrid.}

Thanks again ed

Hi ed
I know you are travelling so really appreciate your time to answer.
This time I'm asking about Alvaro Morata there's been reports saying MU have contacted Real Madrid about him and I recall him being a wildcard but with Real Madrid interested in De Gea could this be easier to complete as opposed to Belotti/Lukaku.
Thanks
{Ed002's Note - Morata is a favourite of Mourinho and is certainly an option for the club. I am not sure if MU have contacted RM about him at this time but as you say with De Gea potentially in the mix it could happen. RM have previously offered him as part of a deal for another player but that fell flat, so they are open to an exchange.}

Thanks ed appreciate it
2.) 07 Jun 2017 02:43:35
@Ed002
Is it true that United have had an offer rejected for Morata recently? Reports suggest Real Madrid value him at €90mil. That seems a bit crazy and far fetched.
{Ed002's Note - MsU are keen on Morata and cannot agree a dea;.}
3.) 16 Jun 2017 08:44:25
Hi Ed
Has there been any developments with Morata that you know of
Thanks appreciate any info you have
{Ed002's Note - There is still no agreement over the fee and the terms Dave but I undertsand the differences appear to be solvable.}
4.) 16 Jun 2017 19:00:42
Thanks ed that's great
5.) 01 Jul 2017 12:36:43

{Ed002's Note - No Dave.}

Hi ed
Have MU approached Real Madrid about the availability of James Rodriguez I've seen many reports stating we have. I'm hoping we haven't as I don't see what he has to offer.
If a sharkopod is close then by all means ignore this and I will wait for that.
Cheers
{Ed002's Note - It is not quite like that Dave. James Rodriguez is keen to leave Madrid To some extent the situation with the player is similar to last year, Real Madrid did not want to sell James in January but they will listen to any very high bids made for the summer as they need to raise funds. Five clubs come in to the picture - Manchester United because they are seen as stupid enough to pay what most sides would see as way over the odds for the player who some would describe as a childish flake; Chelsea as the player has suggested himself that he would like to play for them and live in London - but they won't be held to ransom and have major concerns about his ability to settle in the very culturally different England - but this may not deter an offer; Arsenal could beome interested but will not be attractive to the player as Chelsea or Bayern Munich; Juventus - but he is one of several potential targets and their interest is elsewhere; and Bayern Munich now that Carlo Ancelotti is there - again they won't be held to ransom but the player has said he would be open to playing for Ancelotti again.
However, whilst the intention is that he will be sacrificed in the summer to raise funds, there is every chance that Real Madrid will look to include him as part of a deal for one of the players they are keen on - Dybala, Hazard or De Gea. His agent has spoken to a number of sides about James including Manchester United (Mourinho is a fan), Manchester City (who are unlikely to be interested), Juventus and Chelsea. Real Madrid has also spoken with PSG through a different third party whilst discussions were being held over another player. A move there seems unlikely.
As for discussions with Manchester United, they have taken place through his agent and invove the De Gea issue. There is no agreement between the clubs at this time.}

Thanks ed very informative much appreciated
{Ed002's Note - You are welcome Dave.}

Hi ed
Is there any update on James Rodriguez?
It's clear he's available for the right price
Which clubs are interested in his services?
Appreciated as always
{Ed002's Note - Real Madrid did not want to sell James Rodrigues in January but they will listen to any bids made for the summer. Four clubs come in to the picture - Manchester United because they are seen as stupid enough to pay what most sides would see as way over the odds for the player; Chelsea as the player has suggested himself that he would like to play for them and live in London - but they won't be held to ransom; Juventus - but he is one of several potential targets and their intersest is elsewhere; and Bayern Munich now that Carlo Ancelotti is heading there - again they won't be held to ransom. However, whilst the intention is that he will be sacrificed in the summer to raise funds, there are a four significant things going on in the background that could have an impact on whether or not he will be leaving during 2016 - so we need to wait and see but I expect circumstances to be such that he will leave. But his agent has spoken to three sides about James including Manchester City, Juventus and another English side to try and move things along.}

Question for ed001/002
What's the deal with James Rodriguez is he massively overrated?
Does he have an attitude problem?
I just don't get why Real would let him leave if he is this world class player or is it simply Real Madrid just need the funds
What's your opinion on him
Thanks
{Ed001's Note - both mate. He is not that good but he thinks he is.}
1.) 21 Dec 2016 09:00:07
thanks ed it's kind of what I thought
He seems to be clinging onto his World Cup form which I thought he was bang average just a few nice goals
{Ed001's Note - spot on. He lacks pace and physicality as well, so is easily marked out of a game and bullied.}

Hey Ed002 any chance of a potential ins/outs update
Appreciate it
If you don't have the time no probs
Cheers
{Ed002's Note - Perhaps later in the week.}

Hey Ed002
You said perhaps later in the week so a little reminder.
If you still don't have the time no worries.
Appreciate all your time and effort
Cheers
{Ed002's Note - I have updated the strikers list Dave. Ideally they would like Aguero and/or Morata although a recent "event" has really limited the likelihood of a move for Aguero. Llorente is being considered and do not entirely rule out a move for Cavani or Thomas Muller.}

Cheers ed info appreciated
11 May 2019 08:44:09
Thanks ed002 for the summary.
Is there any interest in Raphael Varane if so which clubs if your happy to share that information.
Thanks
{Ed002's Note - Raphael Varane (CB) was of prior interest of Mr Mourinho when at Manchester United and even if that interest were to return a discussion has already been held with another side - plus Madrid will try and tempt him to stay, although he wants out. I suspect he could easily be priced out of a move by RM looking to block the transfer. Juventus also had an enquiry rejected.}

In the eds defence this site is about banter between football supporters any information they share is an added bonus and perhaps the reason this specific question hasn't been answered this time is that it's already been answered. If you don't get an answer don't worry about it. I've had plenty unanswered but I don't come back moaning about it.
Just chill out mate
