Eds who do you think madrid will go for if they sack their coach? Poch again??
{Ed002's Note - Mauricio Pochettino will be the preferred, although very likely unachievable, target for Perez to replace Julen Lopetegui as coach - but Spurs will block any attempt by Real Madrid to approach him.
Santiago Solari is seen by some as the likely option and it would see promotion from within - but not everybody at the club are convinced he is the person to to coach during this period of significant change - they have been taking advice over the matter. He will be considered but he is, in my view, just as much a risk as Lopetegui
Antonio Conte - Chelsea would be open to a deal for Conte but he may wish to stay in Italy and although he has to be seen as a step in and be successful manager.
Massimiliano Allegri rejected RM before - very unlikely he would do anything but the same again.
I would re-iterate – as a wildcard don't lose sight of Guti as a potential option even though he should perhaps have been given the job in the summer and has since moved elsewhere

Hey Eds with the recent rubbish results do you think Real will make a big move in January? I know generally nobody wants to sell but I find it hard to believe they aren't going to push for big name sooner rather than later
{Ed002's Note - I cannot sensibly comment on the timing of transfers nor do I know what a "big move" is, but Real Madrid are aware that their rebuild will take about a year longer than planned.}

Eds do you think they have interest in him? Or too much hassle?
{Ed002's Note - I am not aware of there being any change in where the interest of Real Madid is. But, like Arsenal and PSG have found out, you cannot always get your primary choices.}
